The exhibition City Alongside Water in the Maritime Museum contains a naval flag of a swastika. The flag is partly folded and placed inside a box. The proposed sculpture in front of the museum can be seen as a swastika from a window on the 2nd floor. If one looks from the window towards the sculpture, this is the same direction as for the island Vinga, where the submarine U3503 sunk. The meaning of the swastika on the naval flag should be understood in within the context of history, WWII and the site.
